The Pennington is an historic building. However, its refurbishment in the early 21st century has ensured accessibility through much of the ground floor and all our public rooms to wheelchair users and baby buggies plus powered chairs. We have one bedroom with fully-equipped bathroom on the ground floor, close to reception and bar and restaurant and several others which are on the ground floor with limited need to manage steps. We welcome all visitors including those with restricted mobility and other disabilities and will do our best to assist. It is helpful if customers let us know when they book of any special requirements they might have.
The following statement is a summary of our provision. If you have any specific questions please feel free to call us and we will endeavour to help.
- The Ravenglass mainline railway station is approximately 150m away with level paths leading down through the village car park to the Pennington.
- There is a local taxi service and also an accessible taxi/transport service. With prior notice, we can make a booking for you.
- There is very limited mobile phone reception in the area.
- You can contact us via telephone, fax or email. Please see contact information below for details.
- We do not have the facility to supply menus in Braille but our menus are in PDF format on our website for prior download.
